And finally, Starry Constellation Magazine has posted their interview with Melinda Clarke. She talks about her time on The Vampire Diaries, whether Kelly Donovan will be back, and being a foodie.

Q. Is there anything about the role that you found challenging?

A. Characters that are flawed, you definitely want to make them feel likable, sympathetic, and human. There were a few times I was curious why and how, I mean I still don’t know what possesses this woman to actually make out with her son’s friend. At one point when I was working with the actor who plays Tyler (Michael Trevino), and I thought to myself, “What grade are you supposed to be in?” Of course Michael is in his twenties, but he’s supposed to of course be in high school. At that moment I think we both had to laugh because I thought, “What would possess a woman to do such a thing?” There was nothing particularly challenging, in fact it was a lot of fun.

Paul Wesley live with Regis and Kelly

MTV highlights Malese Jow's "Team Anna" Project, future episodes

It’s easy to understand why so many people are rooting for Anna, especially when you consider that she’s one of the most developed characters on “The Vampire Diaries.” “I love Anna because she’s so multifaceted,” Malese said. “She’s gone through the tragedy of having her mother taken away and wanting her mother back, to falling in love, to being this menacing person to get her mother. Now that she has her mother back, she can be a kid again. It’s so cool to get to see the teenager side of her because she sheltered that for so long. Now you get to really, really, really see Anna how she is in the next few episodes.”

IF magazine interviews Ian: "Its a living, breathing, evolving show, on its own."

iF: You and Paul Wesley seem to have a great onscreen rapport. Was it there since the day you started?

SOMERHALDER: We love each other. We are like brothers. We dress alike. It’s kind of freaky. But we do have a great rapport. The thing is I realize this: I could be doing this with anyone else… Paul is such a phenomenally talented committed actor, and he’s my good friend, and we could be doing this with anybody else and we got lucky. We worked really hard to get these roles and we’re going to continue to work even harder to keep them.

Malese Jow and Candice Accola brief interviews

Interview with Malese Jow-

Malese recalled to Hollywood Crush that when she auditioned for the part, all she had to go on was a short description that said Anna was supposed to be a shy and geeky girl. “There was really nothing in there that made me think that she was going to be a vampire,” Malese said. “Once I got to the producer session, they said, ‘Can you read it a little more menacing?’ and I was like ‘Huh, ok.’ I didn’t know that she was going to be a vampire until the day I got on set they were like, ‘You’re going to be fitted for contacts.’”

Interview with Candice Accola-

Have you shot the finale yet?
This episode is taking as many days to shoot as the pilot! This isn’t your average run of the mill standard work week. The finale takes things to a whole new level.

Candice Accola interview

Orlando native Candice Accola talks to the Orlando Sentinel about the Vampire Diaries, playing Caroline, what to expect in upcoming episodes, and where Matt and Caroline are headed for the rest of the season.

Q. What’s the appeal of playing Caroline?
A. “I loved Caroline from day one of auditioning for the pilot. I loved her vulnerability and her brutal honesty and that’s relatable. She’s trying to make everyone happy and make herself happy and make everything perfect the same way it’s playing out in her head. I think a lot of girls in high school have these thoughts and scenarios in their mind. They hope it works out in the real world, and it never does. As the season has gone on, her perspective is growing. Viewers will see a lot of growth in Caroline.”
